PUNKY’S HUMMUS CHIPS
Ingredients
1 package of 4 Punky’s Soft Shells
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon of fresh chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon of ground pepper
Hummus Dip Ingredients
1 (15.5 ounce) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas),
drained
1/3 cup pitted Spanish Manzanilla olives
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon cilantro leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Pita Chip Directions
Preheat oven to 400º F (200º C).
1. Cut each of punky’s shells into 8 triangles. Place triangles on lined cookie sheet or a baking screen is even better.
2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, kosher salt, garlic salt, pepper, salt. Brush each triangle with oil mixture.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until lightly brown and crispy. Watch carefully, as they tend to burn easily!
